Care2 is seeking a dynamic individual to drive aggressive growth in traffic and conversions from digital advertising. Applicants should have significant experience managing a large paid acquisition budget and delivering outstanding ROAS. Agency experience is a plus. The candidate should have extensive digital advertising, analytics and performance optimization experience, and align with Care2′s socially responsible mission.

The Online Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for driving growth through Facebook advertising and other digital platforms. The successful candidate will combine the ability to select compelling campaigns and develop effective ad creative with a focus on optimizing acquisition metrics such as conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and ROAS.

Job Responsibilities

  • Optimize a significant monthly spend to drive both short-term and long-term revenue growth
  • Ad Operations – design new ad creative, use A/B testing with alternative images and copy, optimize campaigns, track and report on key performance metrics.
  • Aggressively test new approaches and new advertising products and placements
  • Identify best practices to maximize ROAS.
  • Work with performance data to compile and analyze metrics, make decisions and optimize campaign performance and balance.
  • Manage relationships with ad distribution channels, outside vendors, and agencies.
  • Partner with staff from across departments as a liaison on projects, new procedures, new systems, workflows or creative issues as requested.
  • Maintain Ad Ops processes and best practices and provide suggestions to leadership on improvement opportunities

Skills, Knowledge, & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in online advertising, PPC, and lead acquisition.
  • Strong experience with Facebook advertising.
  • Strong graphic design and copywriting skills.
  • Experience with marketing and conversions from mobile.
  • Successful track record of utilizing analytical tools to track and optimize conversion rates.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Have a sense of urgency and strong ability to prioritize tasks, be self-motivated, and able to effectively manage time and priorities.
  • Skilled in Photoshop and Excel. Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization software a plus.

Business Development Manager (London)

Care2 is seeking a Business Development Manager to play a key role in supporting and constantly improving the sales and marketing activities of Care2’s Business Development team. The Manager will report to the Vice President of Business Development.

The Manager’s primary responsibility is to reach out to sales leads to schedule calls or in-person meetings with Business Development Directors. In addition, the Manager will cover accounts for Business Development Directors when they are on leave.

The first five months of this position will include maternity leave cover for a director and as such you will be required to deliver against revenue targets, actively develop your pipeline for appropriate new clients, monitor the success of campaigns and work with Care2’s campaign team to manage overall client satisfaction by meeting or exceeding client expectations at all times.

Additionally the Manager will work with other members of the sales support team on lead qualifying and marketing activities as needed. Prior experience interacting with charities is a strong plus, as is any prior involvement with online marketing, advertising, fundraising or advocacy. This is a full-time permanent position.

  • Prior sales or marketing experience;

  • Foreign language skills, especially German, French, Italian or Spanish
  • Strong writing and graphic design skills are highly desired
  • Basic knowledge of HTML / CSS or willingness to learn;
  • Experience with image editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing software (iMovie);
  • Basic email marketing skills;
  • Experience with, likewise, experience with Hubspot or other marketing software is a plus

In-Country Partner (France, Netherlands, or Germany)

Care2 is looking for an individual to leverage existing networks to market and promote Care2’s services to both sustainable corporate brands and to nonprofit organisations, as well as to the agencies that serve these organisations.

Specific responsibilities will be agreed with the Business Development Director on a month by month basis and will include:

  • Identifying new opportunities with nonprofit and with agencies that serve them – including direct mail, digital, interactive marketing, consulting and public affairs firms
  • Prospecting and forging new relationships to boost the number of nonprofits that Care2 serves
  • Arranging meetings for the Business Development Director to attend either in person or via the telephone

What you will bring:

  • An existing network of nonprofit contacts
  • Experience of business development within the not for profit sector
  • Significant experience and recognised expert in all aspects of digital, with a strong understanding of lead generation and email marketing.
  • Proven results delivering fundraising campaigns (ideally within an international NGO)
  • Experience of working in an advisory role with a diverse range of seniority levels and markets
  • An assertive and persuasive negotiator
  • Fluent in English and at least one other language (French, German or Dutch)
