On a number of occasions they have helped me help homeless animals that I have rescued and cared for. They are a great team of people.

Non-profit, no kill. These guys rescue animals from kill shelters as well as local surrenders and home-based rescues. This place has been doing wonderful work for a long time--even my mother, who cared nothing about dogs supported this place because they were no-kill when every place else killed.

Not only does this shelter not euthanize animals, but they also take in animals from other shelters &rescues across the country(that would otherwise be euthanised). Additionally, they are part of SAS (save a sato) and have rescued many,many dogs from Puerto Rico. I adopted one of my dogs last December from NEAS, and began volunteering there shorty after,I have nothing but respect and admiration for their staff.

They have been doing this for so long (ca. 1970s), it amazes me the have been able to stay open this long. I have adopted two cats from here once and I would be happy to do it again.

we had to give away our dog, and northeast animal shelter took her in. they are a no kill shelter and a wonderful place.

They are a no-kill facility providing loving and healthy care for the animals and are active in adoption and neutering programs. They are careful about assuring the safety of their adoptees and make certain the animals are going to well vetted homes.

This is a terrific place. It is a no kill shelter that takes in animals, gets them healthy and finds them good homes. Our home is happier because of the animals we have gotten at this shelter!!

They have a no kill policy, and are excellent at matching up pets to go to good homes. We have adopted 3 cats from them over the years, who have all been healthy, wonderful pets. It is a dedicated staff who are quite caring.
