It is very clean and well kept and the people who work there really seem to care about adopting out the animals.
LOVE THIS SHELTER!!! The ACOs are awesome and so are the volunteers! They are in need of more repairs to equipment and medical funding for the animals that come into the Shelter, so they would benefit from $10,000!
The WW Animal Shelter is one of the best in the State! They have caring staff and volunteers and take such great care of all the animals- They have a real need for any donations that may come their way! PLUS- All of omy fur babies come from the West Warwick Animal Shelter..They are truly the BEST in my eye!
We adopted our awesome pit bull SoCo over 2 years ago from them and they were great to deal with and love their animals!

I had the occasion to visit the shelter many times when I lived in RI. The staff there was excellent with the animals and customers alike.
The workers and volunteers really care and put the animals first! The animals here don't have to spend all their time in cages; they get to play and socialize, they are all housetrained and altered to control the pet population, and the people that work there bust their butts to keep the place clean and pleasant despite limited space and funding!
You feel like you are at home the second you drive up. You feel like you belong there and the animal contoll officers and voluntteers are wonderful people. They do a great job. The animals always seem happy and are very well taken care of. If anyone deserves money to improve the animals stay while they are there, it is West Warwick!!
Lori and Amanda care about their shelter animals like they were their own. They keep everyone informed and are constantly working to raise money for the improvement of their shelter. I always feel welcome to socialize with the kitties anytime I visit. My vote is for West Warwick!
I have volunteered there and it is a wonderful place with great people who care a lot about the animals
