It's a great all-volunteer run shelter that makes all of its kitties as happy as they can be until they can find their forever home.

They do all they can to rescue cats. Lisa helped me so much with information that lead to me trapping and rescuing an injured stray kitty!

They are an extremely dedicated group of kitty lovers that never give up on finding each cat a forever home. They are the best!!!!!

Started by one woman above her shop in Old Town, this cat orphanage has grown over the years & mvoed to new digs after the death of their founder & building's owner. Now paying market rate for rent in an expensive area, this is entirely volunteer run & takes wonderful care of their cats. We got ours from them & when we found a stray at my son's school, they made room for him even though technically they were full (unfortunately we couldn't take him because our cat has made it clear she's an only shild type). This is a wonderful group who could really use the money & subsists entirely on donations.

At King Street Cats, they care about each cat getting to a home that's right for them. It is truly cat-centric.

All of our workers an unpaid volunteers who genuinely love cats. There are no big egos here, only care and concern for our kitties and finding them a kind, loving, responsible permanent home.
