SInce 2001 we've helped nearly 1000 basset hounds find their forever home!
They strive to find good quality homes for the homeless bassets of New England as well as helping them all get healthy before they move on to their forever homes.
We found our basset, Rosco through NEBHR. We began fostering bassets and had a number of characters in our home from Tennessee and Puerto Rico to Connecticut and Rhode Island. We helped place bassets into loving homes. It has been very rewarding. Marty our present basset was a foster that stayed. Thanks.
NEBHR goes far beyond for their hounds. All hounds are given a chance to be healthy and find their forever home, no matter how long it takes.
