Col. Potter Cairn Rescue is the BEST. I adopted a very scared puppy mill momma from them almost five years ago. The little girl bolted and ran away from me the very next day after adoption. The wonderful volunteers from Col. Potter did everything possible to get her back to me and make sure she was safe after all she had been through. The volunteers came from many, many different states to Georgia to find this little girl. Finally after 52 days, one of these rescue angels found her, sat for hours and hours and coaxed her close enough to her so that she could grab her harness, which luckily she still had on. This little girl is my heart. I can't imagine my life without her. She's "my" Hannah and she was saved twice by the wonderful angels from Col. Potter. They have saved so many lives that others gave up on. They are simply amazing. Check out their success stories and some of the before and after photos at www.cairnrescue.com. Col. Potter also has given my life in the past five years so much more meaning. I am so proud to be a member of their family.

The most wonderful, generous and loving people I have ever had the opportunity to be involved with. They treat every rescue animal as if it is their own. No stone is left unturned to make the Cairn Terriers well and adoptable. They go to great lengths to give every dog the chance to experience a wonderful forever life no matter how badly they were previously treated.or injured. They fix them up. Every dog has the wonderful chance at becoming part of a loving family, just like the people of the Col Potter Cairn Rescue are true family to each other. The best non-profit organization I have ever been a part of and proud of it!

Volunteers from coast to coast spare no effort to bring endangered Cairn Terriers in to a safe refuge. Then vetting, fostering and match making to ensure each goes to the most suitable fur-ever home. It is the most amazing and tenacious group I have ever worked with. We must be "terriers" too!

Col. Potter resuces Cairn Terriers. These are tenacious dogs just like the people in this rescue group. Even unadoptable dogs are welcomed with open arms. Everyone gives one hundred percent then turns around and gives more.

Col. Potter is so organized that most eventuality is thought of and prepared for. Not only that, but when a need arises such as tornadoes or hurricanes, CP volunteers are there with supplies and support without hesitation. They also take into rescue dogs that other groups would wither ignore or 'mercifully euthanize'. We have such wonderful foster parents and support that we take dogs who have never felt the kind hand, good food, clean, non-itchy fur and give them homes with all the 'good stuff' and support them even after adoption.

Col. Potter Cairn Rescue Network is truly a great network of people helping cairn terriers find their way home...cairns who have never had a home or have been displaced from their home. This group is so professional and giving. All the volunteers work so hard to make it possible to re-home these furkids. They see that no cairn that crosses their path is left behind.
