The Rogue Valley Humane Society is dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals in our community and finding permanent and loving adoptive homes for the cats and dogs in our care. We provide a safe haven for animals in transition, serve as advocates for animals and their people, work to end animal overpopulation and educate the public about compassion and responsibility towards all animals. Our shelter is a No-Kill facility where all incoming animals are evaluated, medically treated and rehabilitated when needed. RVHS is a 501(c)[3] non-profit organization that does not receive any government funding and relies on the good will and generosity of individuals and corporations.
This is the most amazing shelter ,, the manager Margaret and her staff are awesome,, we adopted 2 beautiful cats and we help out as much as we can to help support the shelter with donations etc. They are a no kill shelter and operate on donations solely and really deserve to win
Our dedicated staff and volunteers really care about the animals, and it shows! We continually get animals in each week that were abandoned or abused. We give quality care and medical attention to all our "kids". All are given their shots, and are spayed or neutered before final adoption. This costs lots of money. It's a great place to get great pets, because we did!
They really care about finding the right home for the dogs and cats. They even have pictures of them on their website. They keep a clean shelter and treat the animals and if they were their own. Every pet has a chance here and lots get adopted out because of the shelters outreach to the community!

At the Rogue Valley Humane Society Shelter they are the friendiest and most caring people I have ever met, and I have never been in a cleaner shelter. I can't believe how they love every single animal that is in their charge. When I moved to Grants Pass 3 months ago, I never thought I would become so envolved with any organization, we are starting our own business and I felt I really didn't have the time but when I see the love and devotion offered there I could not help but become a volunteer.
