This is the only NO-KILL Shelter in Bay County. We are in a financial crisis and need funding to relocate back into our original shelter.

It is the ONLY no kill facility in this area. This shelter is always finding someway to raise money in order to survive and to find these precious babies good homes. My heart goes out to each animal in the shelter, as well as each volunteer who takes time out of their busy schedule to help out. Please vote and let's win!!

very friendly, compassionate, and caring staff, clean facility. if it weren't for this shelter, many dogs and cats would simply have no chance of having a loving home. one of the greatest dogs i know came from this shelter. many thanks to all the people that work so hard to keep it going and devote their time and concern in helping these misplaced animals find a new family.

It functions as a no kill shelter. The volunteers are very active in community fund raising activities and often bring shelter dogs with them. They were recently forced to move out of their facility due to budget constraints and creatively combined the animal shelter with the thrift store. This provides many more human interactions for the animals, and every shopper sees the available pets.
Most importantly, it allowed the shelter to stay open at a time of overwhelming need due to the econmic downturn. $10,000 would rejuvenate the shelter's and the community's spirits and help feed countless desperate dogs and cats.

Our animal shelter is wonderful and has helped so many animals. We depend on them to do what should have been done by other people. Like take care of your responsibilities to your pet.
