I love the Town Lake Animal Center! They always appreciate willing volunteers to take the dogs out for play time! :)

Town Lake Animal Shelter is a very clean and open space for dogs, cats, and rabbits to live. The staff is very nice and is always giving great information about caring for your new pet. The volunteer program is a great program that is very involved in the shelter as a whole. For without the volunteers the shelter would not be as extremely satisfactory as it is now!

Clean facilities, and they seem to care a lot of the animals. My daughter adopted a wonderful Lab from there. We went down a lot to view dogs.

This shelter gets the word out about adoptable pets. They do the best they can there and they really need this money to help out with all of the homeless animals.

I can attest as a volunteer that TLAC saves lives of as many animals as it can. They have had success partnering with organizations like Austin Pets Alive and other non-profits working as partners. A lot of pets got neutered, placed in no-killed shelters and just adopted through Town Lake Animal Center. The shelter works with pets and puts effort into socializing them and making their lives better. I adopted my two adorable cats through them, and they have been my babies ever since.

This shelter does the best they can with limited resources. I do what I can donation wise--money, blankets, food, etc. They truly change lives and give unwanted animals a chance.
Thank you, TLAC.
