The Cat Corner, Inc. was founded was founded in 1981 by our founder, Martha Nicholson....and still is surviving as the only nonkill shelter for cats on the Peninsula. The volunteer staff does a lovingly perfomed task of seeing that the animals are cared for daily, and seeing that perspective adoptee families are equiped to take cre of the pets they adopt. When a cat comes into the car of the cat corner it has a safe refuge until he or she finds its forever home. All cats are spay and neutered, and checked out medically and vacinated before adoption. The Cat Corner, Inc. is a non profit organization and depends on donations and profit from yard/bake sales stricly to run the facility. Please donate to help assure this needed servcie can contine, Cat Corner, Inc. is a tax deductible charity organization. Thank you....=^..^=

I don't know of any no-kill shelters around that can say they give as much love, sweat & tears and Very little money as The Cat Corner does...not to mention a Feral Colony. They bring meaning to the words "selfless giving". Thank-you!

Cat Corner is run by pure donation and love for all cats...all-volunteer and no-kill. They do a great service for our feline friends.

The Cat Corner is the only no kill cat shelter on the Virginia Peninsula. Run solely by volunteers with no help from any government agencies it does its best to help as many cats as possible. They also maintain a feral colony where they practice trap, neuter and return.
