America's Favorite Animal Shelter Contest

The people who work there have the biggest hearts and the animals are taken care of very well. I feel that the shelter could do a lot with 10,000 dollars. The dogs need bigger runs.

It's clean, the people are awesome and I found my very best friend in the whole world there!

They care very much about caring for the animals, and doing everything possible for them. This includes going above and beyond to find the right adoptive parents!

I've adopted my Dog from Anderson and they were great through the whole process! I would adopt from them any time!

It is a no-kill shelter. Animals can stay there until they are adopted.

We got 2 great dogs from them.

It's an amazing place. We took all our cats there to get fixed. The staff is very nice and helpful. I love that it is a no-kill shelter so all the animals are given a chance. My family loves to donate food, cat litter, beds and toys. Everytime we went we would go in the cat room to give love to some of the cats they just want to be loved.

i was told about this shelter from a friend. i haven't had the opportunity to visit there however i was impressed with how happy my friend was. non-kill shelters are a wonderful place for all the "forgotten" animals!! keep up the good job!!!

They are a no-kill shelter who take in animals most shelters would euthanize and nurse them back to health. I adopted my English Bulldog/Pitbull mix from them, and she is the best! They do so much to try and save as many animals as possible and find them good homes.

They are a no-kill shelter and offer spaying and neutering at a reduced cost. Oh, and vaccinations at a reduced cost too!!!! I took my 2year old baby Tibetan Terrier there to be spayed, due to having low funds and was impressed with their facilty. The cats there had such a nice living arrangement that even though I am not a cat person, I was tickled pink when I saw their little happy faces. They had those cat jungle gyms, chairs, and beds placed in a room for them to roam free. The thing that really impressed me was seeing a cat curled up in one of the chairs without a care in the world. It looked as though he was as comfortable as though he were in a real home!!!!

Anderson operates on unlimited love and devotion of so many volunteers and a great staff! They are a true asset to our community!
