i got in touch with the rescue via email to ask them to conside saving a blue heeler from a dog warden that i saw on the internet--3 days after i sent the email--they went and rescued cody. after numerous emails and phone calls--and lots of convincing my husband that we just need to meet the dog--we brought cody home--and he has been such a joy and a blessed addition to our family. thanks corene for all you do. you have been a blessing to us to--and all the heelers you rescue.
Thanks to Monica and Mark for introducing us to Buster, our ACD. What a wonderful and smart dog. Their facility is top notch, I would recommend AuCaDo, Remus, Michigan to anyone looking for an Australian Cattle Dog, and for anyone who is not familar with ACD(s), their web site is great. Fantastic work you guys.
Monica is amazing (and Mark). They take in all these ACD's which is a huge task in itself but they really spend the time and effort to make sure that the right person gets the right dog - an even more daunting task. We probably not have chosen Buster if left to our own devices but he is a great dog and perfectly suited to us; we owe Monica a huge vote of thanks! They do a truly fabulous job in handling what can be an overwhelming breed to the uninitiated. You guys rock!
