Dearborn Animal Shelter has a dedicated staff and the greatest volunteers. This organization's first priority is rehoming displaced and unwanted animals in permanent and loving homes.

As a volunteer, I appreciate all aspects of the Dearborn Animal Shelter. They are committed to providing quality care for every creature that enters their doors. The Shelter provides tremendous support for our community, and receives it in return. I can only imagine the good they will do, should they win.

The staff at the Dearborn Animal Shelter does everything it can on a limited budget to give every animal a chance. Dogs and cats are routinely inoculated and medicated if needed as soon as they come in, not just when they've been deemed ready for adoption. And the DAS does not euthanize animals due to space limitations, but runs a thriving foster program. These people are dedicated!

Too many pets come here. But they are very well taken care of by the volunteers who generously give their love and time to animals.

The Dearborn Animal Shelter has a heart for the animals they serve everyday! The volunteers are amazing & the staff always go out of their way to extend their help to rescue animals in need of love & good homes!

Look any good shelter, they work hard at caring for homeless and adoptable animals - with what little funds they have.

I am an active volunteer and foster mom for the DAS and love how they are willing to do almost anything to save an animals life.
