The Anna shelter is a very well organized shelter, I have one Soft coated Wheaton Terrier named Fergus from there, and he is just the sweetest dog. I got him for my 92 year old father whom had recently lost his beloved Yorkshire Terrier Benny who was 16 years old. Fergus was great to my Dad and good for him too. The Anna Shelter has clinics for your pets and the adoption prices and wellness check ups are resonable and help with the animals spayng and neutering and shots program. They do all they can to help the community control unwanted animals. They work closely with our local police department to help unwanted and unloved animals. the helpers are strictly volunteers whom love animals. they help train and get the animals to their forever home. If any shelter deserves this kindness it is the anna shelter. Please consider them for this .. Thanks Elsie Page

The ANNA Shelter is AWESOME! The are great with the animals and do not euthanize them, just because there not adopted in a certain amount of time. We adopted are little Lexi from there last year and she is an amazing little thing.

This is a place where animals have a voice. They receive shelter, food, medical and loving attention from many dedicated volunteers. There are too few places for the Earth's animals to be safe, treated with dignity and loved. You should visit and see how they operate on the few funds that are donated. Have a great weekend, *Karen Dirkmaat

a few years back I found some feral kittens, Thier mother had been killed. I bottle fed them until they were 8 weeks old. I couldn't keep the 3 of them, but didn't know what I would do with them. I was going to be going on a trip and had no one to take care of them. I took them to the Anna Shelter because I was told it was a No Kill Shelter. They took the kittens and I later saw their picture on the website. They had named the kittens and told about each one's personality. They found homes for each one of them. I had made a small donation to them when I left the babies there. I don't know how they can do all they do! too often shelters feel that animals should be killed when there are too many, The Anna Shelter isn't like that, They do everything they can to give the animals a good home until a family can be found for them. It's nice to know that there is a place like this!!!
