HSSV cares about the animals and the environment. It's the first environmentally "green" certified animal facility in the country to offer an adoption program with a full spectrum of pet and community services.

This is a nice shelter who tries to make each animals stay as positive as possible~

They take great care of so many animals, and never lose sight of doing the best possible job for each individual dog, cat, bunny, or other animal who crosses their path.

They save lives, and that is what it is all about. It is the most beautiful shelter I have ever seen and the furry residents are in a very comfortable and caring place as they wait for their forever homes. Not to mention that the totally green facility is great for the environment. I hope to be able to start volunteering with them soon.

They're a wonderful non-profit animal shelter that has been serving people and animals for 80 years or so now. They take great care of the animals they bring in and have a good rep for making sure they all find a great home.

It is a wonderful place to find a pet and they do not euthanize animals I recomend them to anyone who wants a happy healthy pet

I love HSSV because I adopted the best dog ever from there six years ago! They are key in the animal community of Silicon Valley and have a strong presence among us.

Everything they do is truly in the best interest of the animals. I love volunteering here and can't say enough great things about the work they do.

I had the honor of volunteering at this amazing place. Their hospital staff is the most dedicated I have ever seen! I was inspired each day.

I adopted a cat from them and they were very helpful. The new center is state-of-the-art. I support them whenever I can so that they can continue their important work.

Their organization really has a presence in the community! They do so much, and we are very thankful even as non-pet owners.

There are many ways this shelter is the best to even begin to count. One the have a strigent process to make sure the pet will "fit" the owner or the family. They offer numerous classes for you and your pet to have a better life together. The animals and shelter is well kept. They offer discounted vacines for your pet. They won't let any pet go without being totally healthy and have all of it's required shots and it has to be spade or neutered to continue overpopulation of our pets.
