I've been part of this amazing organization since they started back in 2005. The work they have done and continue to do is simply amazing and can not be described in words but in the easily seen in the lives it has saved and impacted. It's a wonderful organization run solely on donation and wonder volunteers. 6 years and still going STRONG! Save one at a time......or 95 (which was our last hoarding rescue).....

The best group in the country. They have been here for the animals since Hurricane Katrina - and are one of the no-kill shelters in the area.

We have the most dedicated, caring individuals that care for our pets. Without their help and the help from donations, we could not do, what we do best...RESCUE ! Not to mention, its the best therapy you can ever get !!!

They help so many unwanted and adandoned animals.. I volunteer when I can and I wish I could take EACH and EVERY ONE home with me..Amazing work done by truly anazing people..

ARNO started in New Orleans in the wake of hurricane Katrina. The volunteers are some of the most devoted people I have ever met. Willing to give their vacations to work 16 hours a day in the shelter, go into bad neighborhoods to feed and catch strays and ferals, and with almost no funding. While I'm sure that any of the fine shelters listed could use the funds offered, with ARNO 15k would go a long, long way towards saving a huge number of animals.

It takes great people to volunteer their time to such a great cause. Without ARNO I would not have my little 'Binky'. We adopted the sweetest little Chihuahua last year and I couldn't imagine my life without her now!
