We found our wonderful dog 5 years ago there and they are animal angels.

Because they brought my good friend together with an awesome doggie...and that pairing was a great one! Des couldn't hope for a better home..and his parents couldn't be more pleased with their family's lastest addition. Thanks for all you do! Animals rule!

I have adopted 2 great senior dogs from them and fostered many more.

They're very dedicated, taking pets into their own homes when necessary. They were very active during Katrina, sheltering pets. They helped find a pet for a friend of mine.

Cathy Komenda was the BEST when helping us with a rescue dog adoption almost five years ago. The chihuahua/peke mix (Scooby) that she matched us up with has been a wonderful part of our family. The HART team members are dedicated and caring volunteers that give pets a second chance.

We have been working with Cathy komenda and she has been great with prepairing us for our new family member. We have always felt it is better to spare a life and give these animals a second chance. We are looking forward to many years of love and affection but this would not be possible without the dedication and time involved with all of the members of HART.

HART is an active rescue group with a wonderful staff of truly compassionate volunteers. The low-overhead organization is active in the community and provides foster care for animals waiting for their forever homes, and do an excellent job of making sure their animals find the right owners. I strongly recommend HART to anyone in the area looking for a new companion, as I've never encountered a group of such wonderful people who care so deeply about the work they do.
