America's Favorite Animal Shelter Contest

The shelter and the volunteers are amazing! I have beautiful 8 month puppy who is lthe light of my life. The puppies and kitties are all well cared for and each one is loved to bits until they have forever homes :)

They are so warm and friendly i love the animals they are so well taken care of and i volunteer there and the staff are wonderful its like one big family.

Our family adopted two puppies one is now 1 1/2 years old & the other 9 months. The staff was always pleasant and you could tell the animals are well taken care of. It's a wonderful thing that Sterling Shelter is doing and they should be commended for their unselfishness and compassion. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the joy we have with our puppies Razzle and Casper.

I'm about to adopt a dog from this shelter, as soon as i move into my new place. You can tell when you go into this shelter that everyone really cares for these poor darlings. If dogs have to be in the shelter im glad its with these people.

i worked here for many years while in high school, Leigh and the girls have done an amazing job. I have adopted two amazing dogs from the shelter and they are the best dogs in the world. I could not ask for a more caring person to run this shelter. Leigh truly loves the animals and ensuring that have their forever homes after a not so good start to live.

My daughter volunteers at the shelter and I went on a visit and was VERY impressed! The facility was unbelievably clean and the rescue animals were very much loved and cared for. I was also impressed that they NEVER adopt out a pet to anyone that has not been thoroughly screened. They would prefer to keep a pet rather than to just adopt them out to someone that they feel would not be a good fit. Kudos to Sterling Shelter for their dedication to the less fortunate animals that come through their door.
