Our Humane Society facilities are the most wonderful, clean, spacious facilities I have ever seen. The cat condos--full of toys, scratching posts and comfy hidy holes --are luxury accommodations fit for precious felines. The dog facilities are just as fine. The people who work there are kind, knowledgeable and amazing. We are so fortunate to have such an excellent humane society in Missoula.

The people who run the shelter really care about the animals there and work really hard to make sure that they get the right home. Last year HSWM had a 98% adoption rate. Earlier this year a cat who had been there almost 2 years found a forever home. The shelter runs low cost spay and neuter clinics, as well as Critter camp for kids during the summer! I volunteer at HSWM and know firsthand how caring and compassionate the people who work there are!
