A couple of my family members have adopted dogs through the Buster Foundation, and they have been some of the best dogs they have ever owned. I will be adpoting a dog as soon as I have the proper amount of space in my home! All the dogs I have met at the adoption events are such sweethearts and just want someone to love them. You can really tell that the people with the Buster Foundation truely care about each and every resuce dog they have in their care.

I have adopted two dogs from the Buster Foundation and going to be in the process of another. I believe in this breed and in everything that Joanie and her volunteers are trying to teach others about the bullies. When I contacted the Buster Foundation I was going thru a very tough time (after having to put down two of my own dogs within two weeks of each other). Joanie called me the next day after I applied and was very accommodating and responsive. Buster has saved and has done so much for so many wonderful pitbulls, I feel very honored being able to brag about them.

We adopted our dog, Holly, from Joanie and Buster 2 months ago. They clearly care about all of the dogs that they care for. We could tell that Holly was loved and that they took the time to ensure that Holly was going to a good home. They keep an open door policy where if we have any questions or problems, they will always be there to help.
