America's Favorite Animal Shelter Contest

I work at Petco and have had some great stories and dogs come into the store that have come from this shelter. Its the older dogs that get adopted that I am so enthralled with. I have also visited it on several occassions and it is clean and well staffed.

I have gotten 3 wonderful dogs from this shelter. My first dog Toby was wonderful until health problems took him at 13yrs old. We then went in and got Flash who is going strong at 13yrs and @ 3yrs ago we went in a got Maggie. They are both loving dogs and this shelter is the first place we look when looking for a dog. It has always been very clean and very helpful and caring people.

I love the way they take care of the animals. They are kind, caring, considerate humans. The animals are clean and well cared for....

Simply put ... They're protective of the animals regarding who has the privilege of adopting them, and they care for them lovingly while they're at the shelter.
