RuffHouZen Rescue is amazing because they have an act now, worry about details later policy!! No stray or dumped off animal is turned away. They've been longing to build their own shelter in L.A. but as the animals keep coming in and keep being cared for and adopted time and money keep this wonderful shelter from being built. Adoption Days are held every single Sunday where great, well-researched homes are found for discarded pets on a weekly basis. They need and actual shelter though. Even more animals could be helped if they had and actual shelter. RH Rescue has the biggest heart for animals know.

They are the Little Engine That Could! Making a difference on a non-existent budget.

Save-A-Stray! I first heard that phrase from Ruff HouZen and it stuck with me. They have hearts of gold and provide a great service for animals and people alike. They truly care and that's what makes them memorable for me.

I've only played a small part of it, for a very short period of time. I am so inspired by the amount of love and the lengths that Ashley and her ruffhouzers go to to help their rescue dogs. Being a part of it, truly makes me want to be a better person.

It takes on the really difficult cases: Pit Bulls that have been shot and in need of immediate medical care; big, unsocialized and seemingly aggressive German Sheppards; 17 year old cats; tripods and you name it.
