They way they make unadoptable animals, ADOPTABLE.

They never turn an animal away and work very hard to fundraise to feed all the cats and dogs they have until they are adopted. A great group of people that ALWAYS have the animals best interests in their hearts and minds.

Pets Alive is the comeback kid. They've been knocked to their knees time and time again. They keep getting up, dusting themselves off, and doing the work they set out to do. They save lives. They do it better with more integrity and compassion than any group of people I've ever seen.

They help save lives and they educate people. The work selflessly and endlessly to overcome challenges, and yet they find the courage and strength at the end of the day to get the job done. Job well done might I add!!

Pets Alive is passionate about saving the lives of animals and finding homes for the animals in their care. Animals at Pets Alive receive loving care from staff and volunteers until they go to their forever homes.

Pets Alive is an amazing place and the love that they have for any animal is amazing. They are extremely dedicated to the safety of animals and I truly believe that they should win.

They are a no kill shelter and do not put down FIV cats...so they have a chance. Especially when some turn out negative when retested as they are older.

Pets Alive Middletown, Westchester and Now Puerto Rico rescue animals from Hoarding situations, Puppy Mills or from the "Kill List" and helps these wonderful animals find their forever homes. NO KILL ALL THE WAY!

They are a No Kill Shelter who strives toward adoption of their shelter animals. I love going there and see all the volunteers walking the dogs and interacting with them. They do so much with so little. I hope they win!

They do so much for as many animals as possible, and do it wonderfully.

Great no kill facility unlike many others including ASPCA and Humane Society are, in fact, kill centers.

It's a very caring and safe environment for dogs, cats, etc. Always well kept and happy, helpful volunteers make Pets Alive and happy place.

It's a NO-KILL shelter that does everything in it's power to care for protect and advocate for companion animals. They truly believe in what they're doing and have a deep love for the animals in their care. I've adopted 3 of my fur kids from Pets Alive and volunteer there when I can.

They are a wonderful NO-KILL shelter that takes in and saves hundreds of animals, and have a hard-working, dedicated staff! They are the designated charity of Broadway, concert and recording star Linda Eder, who collects fan contributions through her "quarters collections" on concert stages across the USA and Canada, and personally makes sure that all donations get directly to Pets Alive. Pets Alive works hard to get their 4 legged friends adopted into good homes, and if they can't, the animals get to live out their lives loved and cared for right there at Pets Alive.

Wonderful caring folks who do an amazing job of taking care of even the oldest and sickest of animals - and placing so many in loving homes.

The work that this shelter does to save and better the lives of so many animals is incredible. They reach out to other states including Puerto Rico to save animals - their compassion and willingness to help knows no bounds! Wonderful NO-KILL shelter that saves thousands of animals, educates the community and advocates for legislation to make the harming of animals stop. Pets Alive has the most dedicated and hard-working staff--they are amazing. And the volunteers are the best!

They do awesome rescues pulling animals from all over giving animals from kill shelters a chance that were doubted. The volunteers that work with the animals are unbelievable and staff is great

This no-kill shelter is incredible. They save so many "on the brink of death" animals with the help of numerous volunteers and the best staff ever. These folks are truly dedicated to the task of saving the "throwaway" fur babies.

They pull animals from kill shelters who are at the brink of death and give them a second chance. They have saved 1,000's of animals, cats ,dogs, horses, goats you name it .I have adopted 4 animals that were considered throw aways /unadoptables but not to Pets Alive.My cats and dog are my best friends and I will be grateful to Pets Alive forever! They rock!!

They are great. They save so many dogs and cats and are a NO KILL shelter. They REALLY make sure that these dogs and cats are safe for the rest of their lives and bring animals from all over the country here for safety. We adopted our dog here, and she had special needs. They were great with helping us with some of her problems with their staff animal behaviorist.

Saved over two thousand critters last year!

The folks there have done an incredible job to improve the shelter and find forever homes for at least 50 animal per month. They have inspired an army of volunteers who come from miles away to walk the dogs every day, brush the retired carriage horses from NYC, clean, cook, do office work, their energy is amazing. They work with dogs to do behavior modification and work on any traits that would hinder their ability to become beloved family members.
