America's Favorite Animal Shelter Contest

Because they're awesome!

What a determined and dedicated group of people! They use all available resources and seek above and beyond their means to find homes for the animals who find themselves in the care of the Bainbridge-Decatur County Humane Society.

I LOVE the Bainbridge Humane Society!!!! The employees work VERY hard, and love the animals as their own. The volunteers are fantastic AND the pets are GREAT!!

It is the only shelter in our area and it provides a safe haven for the animals that would otherwise suffer terribly, become malnourished or die a horrific death. This area is not known for its love of household animals but thank goodness we have this shelter and the volunteers who do make a difference in many animals' lives. Without them, homeless, abandoned, neglected and /or abused animals would not have a chance. Between their small budget and donations, they are able to provide quality care for all the animals in their charge. They should win because of all they are able to succeed despite the adversity they face in this county.

They have the best dogs in the world- that's where we got our Shiner!

This is a group that works from a base of love. They give not only their time but also their own funds to help keep the shelter open. Volunteers help with community fund raisers, but that is not enough. Winning this contest could really make a difference.

They do a tremendous job with limited funds in caring for neglected and abused animals in Decatur County. They truly love all animals. Bainbridge and Decatur County are both small and the needs are great.

What can I say they are the most caring people in this town to take time out of there day to care for these animals . If you could have only seen some of the ones they have brought back from almost death. They don't have to do this but they do. We need the monsy here so bad so that more good will be done.
