If it weren't for IBR, I would not have awakend this morning with my sweet little Buckwheat smushed up against my chest, under the covers keeping me warm. To have that kind of connection, that kind of love and comfort from my little rescue dog is something I am greatful for everyday. We miss you Wubs.

When IBR takes in a dog, they do it irregardless of the dog's age or medical condition; many of which would otherwise face certain death elsewhere. All IBR dogs receive thorough medical evaluation and all necessary medical care. IBR has saved dogs who were literally at death's door scheduled to be euthanized.
IBR has TRULY AMAZING volunteers with unlimited love, devotion and dedication to saving these remarkable birddogs.
I am biased when it comes to IBR and how much this rescue group means to me each time I look into the eyes of my 2 adopted IBR pointers!

A Bird Dog and Bird Dog Rescue both hold a dear place in my heart. I can't say enough about the work of this rescue! I have loved and been loved by several Bird Dogs in my life, but IBR brought me the love of my life Belle and also some truly dear friends, Michelle! Thanks for the amazing work you do and please know IBR truly deserves to be the BEST in the world when it comes to hard work and dedication. I love you Belle and Roman, you are the best... All my love Andrea....

This shelter has done more to protect the health and awareness of disease prevention in stray animals than any I have ever encountered. They also take sporting dogs and not only give them a home but rehab them in a way that fulfills the dog - in the field. They're the best.

Because they care about all these helpless setters and pointers and actually do something for them.

As an owner of 3 gorgeous, yet rambunctious english pointers; I am aware of just how much joy, laughter and pride they can bring to someone's life. Any organization filled with individuals willing to spend their time and money and open their hearts to dogs in need is a godsend. We have to continue to support these people as they tirelessly work to save these stunning dogs from a world of neglect and deprevation. God bless you guys and your diligence, your efforts make the world a better place (especially for all the pretty little pointers out there in need.)
