The people helping the animals there are great! You can just tell how much the love their job, because they love animals so much.

The BAHS has been around for 50 years serving discarded, abused and neglected animals. It takes a special kind of people, who will show up and do this daily. BAHS operates on a tight budget and deservies all the help they can get.

BAHS employees are so hardworking and conscientious. The shelter is always so clean and fresh-smelling, as are all the pets.

Serving our community for 50 years. Folks that really care about the animals, and finding homes for animals that might not of other wise made it.

I would like to see BAHS win because they do lots of good things for the animals in their care and they can use the money.

BAHS makes a wonderful effort to find homes for animals and tries to avoid euthanasia. They have had good support from the community to expand and improve their facilities.

My family adopted the best dog we ever had from BAHS. He loved kids and was very protective of the entire family. All the animals we have adopted have been in great health and very loveable. The staff has been friendly in every encounter and it is obvious they love each and every animal.
