Only started this year, this rescue has already saved and found homes for nearly 70 dogs and cats--and counting! The director is very organized and makes volunteers, fosters and adopters feel completely at ease, making saving animals fun and so rewarding. I foster for Secondhand Hounds and to see the look on your foster pet's face when he realizes he's finally in a safe haven is simply priceless. Secondhand Hounds empowers me to change a little part of the world for the better. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
