Perhaps it sounds flippant, flighty, and unimportant, especially to days declared to planting trees, speaking out, and more.  Yet, musicals are so free when you watch them.  Even if someone were to pay you to stop singing and or dancing, haven't, in the deepest part of you just wanted to let it all out?  Well, today's the day to let it all out in a positive way!  Make up your song, just sing it no matter how bad it sounds!  Dance to get your point across, sing an everyday conversation!  Do it only at home if you're embarassed about it.  Music, no matter the genre or the originating country is the human spirit in words, a way of connecting and can be a way of freeing yourself too.

If you have children, especially younger ones, this is a great way to have fun together (My son gave me funny looks at first, but pretty soon he was singing back!).

Let it all out, surprise the socks off of someone who doesn't know by singing what you want to say to them, if you're not good at making up tunes or lyrics, don't worry, go for a silly comedic effect then, sing your conversation to a tune you do know!

The best part of all, is that I believe nature loves singing, even if you're bad at it.  No matter the quality of your voice, those who sing to plants know it has an effect on them, more than just talking.  Music is in us because music is in nature, bring it out every April 20th!

Have a Happy 1st Living in a Musical Day!
