This letter serves as a probe to see who would be interested in joining us for this event, and to ask those of you on this list to let us know of other rescues that may be interested.  We would love this event to be our own yearly Upstate New York Awareness Day with information booths, rescue booths, vendors and guest speakers.   We can't imagine that we are alone in our frustration that these places are popping up all over, and are asking for help in getting the word out that this inhumane practice has to be stopped.  There's no better place right now than Yates County!
