By applying the power management tools you already have on your PC or laptop you can save an average of $20 per year on your energy bill and help slow global warming. Pledge to support the Climate Savers Computing Initiative and commit to the following: 1. To use power management on my computer(s) whenever possible; 2. To choose Climate Savers Computing-compliant systems, if available, for my future PC purchases. By improving energy efficiency of PCs and servers and encouraging the use of power management tools, Climate Savers Computing aims to reduce green house gas emissions by 54 million tons by 2010.
