THESE 2 BABES NEED A HOME NOW! We had these babes placed, then the adopters job got hit with the recession, and they are in need again. Location: Northern Colorado
Info on these 2 precious babes…who grew up together and would LOVE to stay together.
Gorgeous Yaka is a 4 year old male with a great personality, and an absolute joy! He is great with people male/female and kids. He is a very social guy and plays well with other dogs. he is fully house broken (very occasional accident) and he is OK unattended inside the house. He weighs around 100 lbs, is neutered and microchipped. he is good on a leash and loves to go for hikes but has no problem laying around and being lazy. Yaka is a very sweet dog. He is good with children, people, puppies and all dogs. Of the two, he seems to have the least wolf-like behavior. In the pictures, he is the bigger of the two.
Sweet, Pretty Lola is a 3 year old female, very sweet disposition and a loving girl, who needs a lot of exercise and a big yard, well secured to burn off her endless energy.
Lola is also GREAT with people, but will be aggressive with dogs that she doesn't know. That being said she almost always gets over it a wants to play. she just needs to be introduced in the right way., but she can be with larger dogs only, no smaller wuffers/animals. Lola plays too rough for smaller dogs, and will always be aggressive to them.
The only dogs Lola seems submissive to are German Shepherds, which may be explained by the fact that she spent a lot of time with them as a puppy and the fact that she has German Shepherd in her.
Lola is a typical wolfdog, and must be in escape proof containment…Lola has more wolf-like tendencies that Yaka does. As typical of wolfdogs, she will try to dig out of the yard, hop lower fencing, etc. High fencing with hotwire or lean ins required.
Lola has torn out window screens ..to get out of the house, as she basically will do anything she can to get out and explore. This is remedied by not leaving her inside unattended, and giving her a nice big yard to burn off energy with Yaka…running & romping around all day will tire her out! She is an active, fun loving girl! Like any large breed…Lola needs a big yard for her daily exercise, so she can run & chase about. Romping in a large yard with Yaka all day will burn off that energyJ!
Lola loves being indoors too, but best not left in the house unattended. She needs a secure yard, with a warm wuffer house for when her owners are not home, and will be there to greet you with wags and kisses when you get home, and ready to come inside for her dinner!
Lola is trustworthy in the house, but does get in the trash if it is accessible, so we recommend a trash can with a secure top on it. She is great on the leash and loves hiking…she’s a great hiking buddy! (But she will lunge at a strange dog or animal on the trail if it appears...so she needs a hiking harness to keep her secure & safe. as Lola is not friendly to strange animals).
Pretty Lola is spayed and micro chipped. Lola is basically housebroke...but will occasionally mark or have an accident (again….best to leave her outside if not attended). RESCUER CONTACT FOR THESE GORGEOUS PAIR! Linda Jo: email@example.com Lola weighed 60 pounds at the last vet visit. She is tall, but much lankier than Yaka, & Lola is a very sweet dog with people and kids, just not friendly (at all) to strange wuffers, or smaller animals.
**I will be happy to elaborate more on these two for anyone interested in saving these babes and giving them their chance at life!
**I can email the adoption application to expedite the paperwork, as these 2 are in urgent need of a home!
**We will send out a homecheck volunteer also, to advise on any fencing issues etc, to insure a happy & safe situation for all!
**Please give these two babes their chance, they deserve to live and not end up at the shelter…thank you!**
Also…remember the owner is offering some transport assistance, as they want these wuffies in a good home too!

OK TO CROSS POST 1. This little family came in together. They are the picture of neglect. All three have demodex. The worst case seems to be Luke, the youngest. Luke is about 5 months old and weighs about 6 lbs. Greta, the female, is about 2 years old and weighs about 8 lbs. Hollis, the other male, is about 1 year old and weighs about 8 lbs. They are friendly. The staff says they won't be kept long. They are AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY TO RESCUE. Can someone help them? Here's the link to their pictures which I'm anyway uploading bellow:
Noodles is very friendly and sweet. He's about 8 months old and weighs about 12 lbs. He is showing kennel cough and the staff wants him gone as soon as possible. His tracking number is 10126639. Can someone give Noodles a chance? Here's the link to his pictures which I'm anyway uploading bellow:
Please help the dogs of "SOSCoky" - the Canile of Santa Maria di Castellabate, Campania, Italy - in signing our petition. The area of the Canile is placed at a former rubbish-ground without infrastructure. There is no electricity and water. Many of the dogs are sick - suffering of Leishmaniose, Ehrlichose or other diseases. Already five years ago the municipials have promised a new area for the Canile, but 'till now nothing has happened. It is time for keeping promises now!! Join our petition please! Thank you!!
Please sign Stu's Petition (dog in isolation for 2 years) 12:39 AM
Stu had no previous history of biting before he bit someone after being injured in a fight with another dog. Experts have deemed him to not be dangerous, but he is still being held in isolation for almost two years now.
This picture was taken this past Tuesday, 6-26-07 Stu's teeth are getting bad, he is graying, and his coat is in bad shape. It is so sad that he is just growing old in this concrete cell. To deprive a dog of socialization for this long is unthinkable and inhumane. Please help. THANK YOU!
