Rumors are spreading around that our sites sparkletags and mstags are infecting people and having their accounts from MySpace deleted... This is NOT true about our sites doing this... There are layout type sites that are the ones that are spreading the worm/virus throughout MySpace. What is happening is the people that are getting their profiles infected/high jacked and what happens is the virus sends out spam bulletins using your account info... bulletins like sexual, pornographic, adult related... once MySpace catches you doing this they will delete your profile... but these people are not the ones doing it... it's the infected ones that are... My daughter was one that was infected and we were wondering why she was posting bulletins about pornographic material, so we monitored her account very carefully and even when she was next to us a bulletin had posted on her account.. we know she didn't do it, she was right next to us! so we changed her password and checked her profile out for the QuickTime exploit which I will explain below, so I would be very careful on where you get your layouts or even images for that matter because you never know what code your putting into your profile...
When you copy and paste a code... don't just copy and paste it... look it over... if you see somewhere in the code that it has a script with something .mov in it do not use it! there is an exploit going around that is causing this worm/virus to infect people and doing this to them... It is not us doing it, if you look at our code... our code is strictly just to show the image and have a link back to our sites.. that is it.... if you don't believe us, copy our code that is under each image and paste it in someone’s email that knows html and ask them or just ask them to look at it from our site to make sure it's clean... and they will tell you it is... We are in no way shape or form trying to do something this stupid to jeopardize or website traffic over this BS....so please pass the word and let people know it is not sparkletags.com or mstags.com spreading this nasty worm/virus!!!!!
