What is Classical Riding? Classical Riding is riding your horse correctly and quietly, in harmony and in balance. The philosophies behind classical riding started with the Ancient Greeks. Although the aim of classical riding is clear in principle, putting the philosophy behind it into practice will clearly become a lifetime quest. The art of classical riding is therefore very much for the thinking rider, who is always looking to improve and become more at one with the horse. In order to ride in balance and in harmony, a true classical rider has to attain the knowledge through theory and practice. This discovery will enable the rider to listen to and feel what the horse is telling them in every step taken. Here is a place where we can share our techniques and thoughts on how to ride.
