Recipe: Fiddlehead Stew

Fiddlehead Stew:\

4 dozen fiddleheads
2 cups boiling water
1 tsp. nut oil
1/4 lb. nut butter

In a medium pot, cover the fiddleheads with boiling water. Reduce heat, steam(simmer) for 20 minutes, until tender. Season and serve hot- alone or in a nest of wild rice or cornmeal.
