Welcome to the group. Grab a comfy chair, some hot chocolate, and enjoy yourself!
Ok i was sent a few questions and one was, "Do i need to be a vegetarian to join the group". No you dont need to be a vegetarian. It would help but its not required. Dont pick on eachother either from what one another eats. Now I change the group theme monthly maybe even less then a month. I try to get more news as soon as I hear somthing so check the news every now and then. Another question I got was "Can I Be A Host?". Well... At the moment nobody can be a host sence groups can only have 5 hosts sorry wish i could add more. If you want your petition listed look in the Petitions Section down bellow for info about how to. World's Largest Marine Sanctuary Created — President Bush plans to designate a vast new marine sanctuary Thursday, extending stronger federal protections to the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands and its endangered monk seals, nesting green sea turtles and other rare species. The nation's newest national monument, which will be given a native Hawaiian name based on suggestions from state residents, covers an archipelago stretching 1,400 miles long and 100 miles wide in the Pacific Ocean. The region is home to more than 7,000 species, at least a fourth of them found nowhere else.

~Bad News~
Caged Black Bear Killed - A country singer accused of killing a tame black bear appeared in U.S. District Court in Duluth Tuesday. Troy Lee Gentry, 39, of Franklin, Tenn., and Lee Marvin Greenly, 46, of Sandstone, Minn., are charged with conspiring to violate the Lacey Act. Authorities said Gentry bought the bear from a wildlife photographer and hunting guide -- then shot it in an enclosed pen with a bow and arrow. He then allegedly arranged for the doctoring of a videotape of the alleged "wild" kill. Gentry and Greenly appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Raymond Erickson. If convicted, they each face a maximum penalty of five years in prison.

Please help the dogs of "SOSCoky" - the Canile of Santa Maria di Castellabate, Campania, Italy - in signing our petition. The area of the Canile is placed at a former rubbish-ground without infrastructure. There is no electricity and water. Many of the dogs are sick - suffering of Leishmaniose, Ehrlichose or other diseases. Already five years ago the municipials have promised a new area for the Canile, but 'till now nothing has happened. It is time for keeping promises now!! Join our petition please! Thank you!!
