e-activists: online petitions for human security

Aid workers provide a lifeline of food and shelter for civilians during armed conflict. Yet their work is often compromised by deliberate attacks from the warring parties. An attack on aid workers not only endangers their own personal security, but also the livelihood of entire communities who depend on their assistance. These are the threats facing aid workers in Somalia, Sri Lanka and Sudan where they are often killed and harassed.

Add your name to the petition and join our call on the warring parties to stop attacking aid workers in Somalia, Sri Lanka and Sudan.

About e-activists.org
We fight for human security with the support of people all over the world. Our aim is to assist local community groups by bringing their concerns to an international audience and call for timely action by responsible actors such as governments. This is done through regular petitions that are presented to responsible authorities to further the well-being of people through human security.

e-activists.org was first founded by concerned individuals in Japan. Local activists from more than thirty countries have since joined our efforts for human security regardless of their own private political and religious beliefs.
