Our new cohost is a member of Human Rights Watch. Although we are not officially affiliated, we will promote the principles upon which it is founded. It is a noble and, unfortunately, necessary organization, along with all such entities that monitor and fight for human and civil rights all over the globe.
We intend to enforce a practice of no personal attacks. While we understand that these discussions can get rather volatile, there is no room for attacking someone personally. Please discuss the post and not the poster. After all, this is about human rights. We honor the right to have diversity of opinions.
Thank you.......the hosts.

Latest Host Announcement: Unblocking members
Jan 30, 2009
All the Care2 members that were previously blocked from this group have been unblocked. That means all are welcome to come here and post, at least for now.
Please don't make me regret this act of mercy. I can turn ruthless in a heartbeat if violations occur here like I've seen in many other groups.
