Help Eliminate HUMAN TRAFFICKING

The other night I watched a documentary called "Sex Slaves" that really made me think in human behaviour, in how cruel can be a person...how we can trade with human lifes like they are, I don't know, things or whatever...

The documentary showed many women stories...how they were selt and forced to prostitute in many European countries. It was located in Ukraine and Moldova where women were mislead, because they told them that they'll help them to find a god and well paid job in other country in Europe, but the truth is that they were sold in countries like Turkey, Spain, Netherlands, UK or Italy where they have to work as a prostitute.

The procurers tell them that only if they can achieve the amount they paid for them, they will be free...but they are never able to achieve it...and they also say that if they don't work, something bad will happen to their family, especially to their child...so there's no way...they have to stay there...in houses that look like jails, and work for hours, putting up and suffering violence and rapes...

One of the women finally was free...and brought charges against the man who sold here...but he was given parole for 5 years!!!!!!!!!...unbelievebable!!!...and the judge said that he was following the Ukranien Law....wooww...I can't believe it!!...I can believe how a person who is traficking with women can still be free when there are many proofs that show his activities....

What's happening in the world???

Believe me if I tell you that in the end, when the documentary was over I felt such powerless that I wanted to cry...Fortunately there are organizations that help women who have been trafficked into prostitution like The Poppy Project...I wish we can do the world a better place.
