I need a new vehicle and want it to be green.  Everything I can find is too small.  I have two large dogs, one of them a 228 pound Great Dane, and two teenage kids.  I can afford to buy a new car.  Any suggestions?  I am open to either hybrid or clean diesel or????????  Linda

Jeff Pink, the Chairman and CEO of EV Rental Cars recently announced they have doubled their fleet of hybrid cars for rent over the last year. Though a partnership with Fox Rental Car (www.foxrentacar.com), they are able to rent a wide variety of hybrid cars including the Toyota Prius, Toyota Highlander hybrid, and the Honda Civic Hybrid.

Blog: My New Hybrid !  
I'm so excited about my new luxurious "green" car!   It's hard to believe that this Lexus look-alike gets significantly better gas mileage than my VW New Beetle.  It feels absolutely huge and rides like a dream.  It also has a lot of power - who said that hybrids were slow and pokey and small ?!?!?   Not my beauty!   Oh, it's the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid and it is actually green - the paint color is officially called Jasper Pearl and it's a really beautiful color.
