Hello & Welcome. My name is Crystal. First, a bit about me: I am married to an active duty soldier in the Army. I am also in the Air Force.
HOST/GROUP OWNER: Crystal K.
GROUP CO-HOST: Marge D.
I created this site for military service members, veterans and their families. Our way of life is different than that of the average family life. We have issues that only other military family's would understand. This group is here for those family's to meet and get support from others who can relate. We welcome everyone but if you have a family member that is currently deployed and you feel alone or confused about what to do, this is the BEST place to be for support and resources. Everyone here is either currently serving, retired or married to someone serving or retired...we even have some "military brats" here with us...so just ask...I KNOW someone here will have the right answer to help you! Now, my one and only RULE: THERE IS TO BE NO DEBATES ABOUT THE CURRENT WAR IN IRAQ, OR ANY DEBATES ON THE MORALITIES/IMMORALITIES OF WAR IN GENERAL. IF I SEE ANY OF THIS HAPPENING IT WILL BE DELEATED IMMEDIATELY AND THE CULPRIT WILL BE BANNED. THIS IS NOT A POLITICAL GROUP. This is because there is no point to discuss those things here and now. Our service members are there and all we want is for them to do their jobs and get home ALIVE as soon as possible. If you want to debate war, create a group and discuss it all you want in there. It is difficult for non-military families to understand how hard it is to see a loved one deploy, especially when there is that chance they may not make it back home. To discuss those answerless and pointless topics in this group would just be more hurtfull and plain old mean spirited! Bumpersticker of the year: "If You Can Read This, Thank A Teacher, -And Since It's In English, Thank A Soldier!"
special thanks to SkiDu for some of her awesome graphics.
