At educentral.co.uk we believe that the education industry should be at the forefront of sharing information and knowledge. Our site, a hybrid social network community and news source, assists those interested or involved with the education profession by providing a useful and innovative online community.
Educentral.co.uk has the capacity to help teachers, students, teaching assistants, lecturers, professors, school governors, members of the local council, school inspectors and exam board officials to make contact with each other.
A new site that aims to bring together a broad range of people, so that new lines of communication can be founded and connections can be made throughout the varied professions of those involved in the education system.
The expertise and independent views of those with experience within education and teaching, when shared with others who have a different sphere of influence in the sector, can have a real impact.
Educentral has created an education focused area that serves to connect and facilitate the knowledge gained through the varied experiences our members have.
If you are involved in the education system then share your knowledge. And if you want an inside look at schools and universities, look for that here.
Whilst this online community is a prevalent aspect of educentral.co.uk it is by no means all it has to offer.
Others services amalgamate some of the most important and useful resources on the internet. Through live news feeds, bookmarks and a regularly updated video blog the most recent news and discussions surrounding education are brought together in one place.
A large school district in Los Angeles County is considering implementing a new, progressive education plan. Please help our quest to solve our nations' most pressing educatin problems!
Did you know...there have been 30 million toy recalls in the US since January 2007? Isn't the time right to take a step in supporting locally-made, eco-friendly alternatives?
There is only a little more than 24 hours left for us, and we are asking for help through online votes.
Our eco-friendly board game company was selected as 1 of 20 semifinalists in the 2008 Forbes.com "Boost Your Business" entrepreneurial contest. We're a family business that invents and distributes sustainable game products.
We're pursuing a $100,000 grand prize to develop a new game made with bold recycled components with a teen/adult version and a junior version. Anyone will notice that our business plan is the only one that also turns part of the prize into a web site that generates ongoing donations for non-profit organizations -- we will make a free and fun online game that makes charitable contributions with each visitor's play.
In order to advance, we need to generate enough votes from the public for our business now through September 30 (polls close at midnight!). Andwe need a lot of them! All 20 companies are working overtime to make it to the finals and we need your assistance.
It takes two minutes of time in an easy online vote and validation system with Forbes.
Sharing this with as many parents and educators is our goal. Can you help with a fast vote? Can you ask a friend or two to consider supporting us before the midnight deadline?
Thank you for your time and thoughtfulness. Please let us know if there are any ideas.
