Oikos is Greek for house, household, or home, and it is the root of ecology, economy, and ecumenism. Oikos works to care for the world house, our common home, by addressing the concerns of peace, poverty and planet earth.

Oikos focuses on systemic solutions for global sustainability through research, educational initiatives, interventions, consultations and other activities aimed at facilitating positive change in relation to issues of peace, human need and ecological sustainability.
