Q: Does anyone know of any products that are using oil from killed seals except for the well known Seal Oil health capsules (not exactly healthy for the seals!). I posted a message on myspace which said:

Animal Activists, Friends and myspace users everywhere!

I heard a rumour that some butter/margarine/spreads may contain oil from seals (though they dont advertise that on the web!) - are there any seal derived products from major companies out there which they are trying to hide?

PLEASE can you spend 5 mins sometime soon trying to find out if any products on the web, in your local store or supermarket contain SEAL OIL - especially check anything which has OMEGA 3 !!! (if it does not state the source of this omega 3 oil or just says 'animal derived' then also e-mail me on the below link).

The helpless Pinnipeds of the Arctic and the World need our help in exposing the industries which use their brutally murdered bodies for products sold in shops!

Check your local stores - check the ingredients - and let me know if you find a company using seal oil in any product (other than seal oil capsules which we are all well aware of)!
