IT'S FOR THE BIRDS: WILDLIFE PARKS~
Backyard wildlife habitats are wonderful; but just not practical for everyone. There is an alternative; which are wildlife parks for birds; insects such as butterflies and honey bees, and small animals such as frogs; toads and lizards, etc.
If you are a real go getter, a planner, an activists, a designer, a person who has energy, ambition, and determination, this is the job for you. While a backyard habitat can be a very simple project, a park takes much more time, effort and money. If you are an energetic and amititious, motivated and not afraid of work and opposition, you can bring together people to work on this project, hold fund raisers and donation drives, ask professionals to donate their skills; efforts and time, ask the public to donate their skills such as physical labor, letter writing, and many other tasks which may be needed. You can talk to groups, community leaders, and organizations about your project; use free advertizing whenever possible, and make sure the public knows the why, when, and how of a project.
You can in essence create parks that are natural habitats for birds, butterflies, honey bees, frogs, toads, lizards, etc. and you can make it inviting, peaceful and friendly and a place to survive for the species of your local area and for those who are migrating also.
