PET: Urgent - Memphis animal shelter abuse
1 month ago
| Actions

Three dogs were INTENTIONALLY starved at this Memphis Animal Shelter. The employees have not been charged with a crime, nor have they even been terminated. The petition demands those responsible be immediately terminated and brought up on charges. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/145/justice-for-dogs-starved-at-a-memphis-animal-shelter

I delievered the 1st 1500 signatures to Mayor Wharton last night, but signatures are still rolling in. Memphis Mayor AC Wharton has a press conference scheduled for 10:00 this morning. It is only said he will make a "Mayor announcement". I pray to god they will terminate everyone from the top down and bring them up on charges!

thank god the mayor took action. now the employees who were part of this horror need to be fired and brought up on charges. there was no excuss for anyone to do this to any animal.

Mayor Wharton is a smart man

I have every bit of faith he will fire the other 3 employees and see to it they are brought up on charges. He is just making sure he has all of his ducks in a row, so to speak. He does not want to do anything quickly, he wants to make sure its done right.
