after i had removed th first spam attack, i discovered we had a couple of people in our group who had spammed other lists. so i kicked them to the curb, too.

Dang!  I miss everything!  You go, Kenyatta!   

I apologize for not being able to get on...since Care2 put instant messages on ~ my computer access at work will no longer allow me access to get onto anything of Care2.  And when I've tried to get on during the evening, folks click on to talk and I was not able to check my mail and/or post one single post...So, I wasn't able to post at work or home...

I love chatting with friends, but I have instant message access for that when time permits, but when I get on Care2 it is usually in between short breaks of typing reports, so I only have a few minutes to post, and when folks click on to chat...I no longer have any time to post.  I had to put my block on just to be able to post, and now I feel GUILTY...What are you folks doing?

several groups like ours dealing with relationships and singles were hit by spammers, with messages about chatting with millionaires, sexy deaf people, a sexy military woman, hot lesbian pictures, online businesses, etc. with Colleen's help, i was able to identify 4 or 5 spammers that were trying to hide out in the Lonely Singles and dispatch them. it was a major topic in the Care 2 feedback group and the Care2 hosts group.

does it make you feel big to spam, make your own group and spam it all you want but please back off to those that actually have things to talk about that are meaningful thanks!
