I'm creating this thread to make Group Announcements for everyone. Some groups have a thread for Hosts only but in this group we all care about each other a lot so it should be for both I think.

First Announcement is about our membership. This group has had a steady growth of an average of 50 new members a week since its inception. Then all of a sudden, over night, new members dropped to a fraction of that amount. According to our stats that we Hosts can see in our Group Console, only 15 new members per month (!) are joining now. I personally find this very disconcerting, especially since this group has helped so many improve their health.

I and friends have made our own tests to see if invitations were still working. We invited 100 people to join this group and then we invited 100 people to join a group of an unrelated topic. 75% joined the unrelated topic group and 1% joined this group.  

Personally I believe our admittance capabilities have been compromised by entities unknown.

I mispoke on the 15 new members in the last 30 days. I just rechecked and that is 15 new members in the last 60 days.

I used to invite individuals I saw discussing natural health alternatives around Care2 and almost without fail they joined us here. Now when I invite them they never show up. So I think something is definitely rotten in Denmark.

Most of my friends are here already but I invited them before the 'freeze' took hold.

I think this is a great group , I went through all my groups list and started deleting some simply because I don't have the time. I've joined some groups through invitation and never remembered to go read and post. I came back here recently to post because I saw the topic " Osteoporosis" which happens to be an emotional issue for me. I'd forgotten the quality of the writing from the people who post here. I hope to be back more often.

I lean on the culmative knowledge in this group and love the non-judgmental way in which different opinions can learn and openly share, its barr-none my favorite place to come and read and share health info.

I havent invited friends because I am a misunderstood boob who sometimes has a thick skull. I will do an experiment of the misunderstood boob kind and see if I can invite my fellow noobies and boobies to join up here, we will see how many come and we will also see if any of them think enough of me to come...it should be very interesting.

interesting to me that is....and maybe will boost the numbers by like, two and a half or something like that..

I dont mean to brag but when I invited all of my friends to this group and I sat here on my ergodynamic cushion looking at their sweet faces, I couldnt help but be overwhelmed with LOVE, I hope they all join so you folks here can also experience my good taste in people! WOW
