Thanks for the invite Donna. I look forward to exploring the threads here. They look very interesting. We have recently made some drastic lifestylye changes.
I thought I would stop and say Hello. Thank you for the invite. My name is Debbie. I love nature. I spent most of the summer in the mountains. It was sure good to get away. Keep in touch.

Hmmmm, Don't know that I ever did check in so I figured I better. But here I am. Been enjoyin the group anyway. I am SummerDaze. I live on the coast of North Carolina. So glad to be in the group! And so glad to have finally taken over my life! Look forward to *Caring and Sharing* with you all!
Thank you for the invite, Wildone! I am looking forward to learning a lot and sharing some , too! Hey and what's up with the "Men's room"??? You know if you tell a gal she can't look that is just tooooooooooooooooo tempting!!!!! I didn't notice a girl's room...maybe us girls should start one???
Oops been here two minutes and already starting trouble...
Hi Everyone,
This sounds like a great group to join. We love to vacation in the mountains - N.C. in the Nantahala region. Love to ride the rapids - fishing - it's all there & more. Our favorite State to take a vacation in is Maine - somehow I always feel I am coming home while in Maine. Last year we went to New Hampshire & Montreal, Can. But there's no place like home, as Dorothy used to say. This year a vacation will be postponed because of our new puppy named Molly. She is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi and she has more energy than the Space Shuttle and a bag of chips. Gotta enjoy her while she's young - like our children, they grow up far too soon and then they are gone to other places. Not Molly tho, hopefully we will have her for 16 years or more like we did our Beloved Chloe, also a Cardi.
Be Well & Be Loved.!!

Well, in defense of the women here, they are trying to help you men out with knowledge they bring to the Mens Room thread. Sometimes it is too embarassing for men to acknowledge certain health issues so they just don't discuss them. I have left the anonymous function on in this group for that reason as well.
[send green star]
Everybody. We all can't wait to hear what's on your mind about natural health. Whatever you're knowledgeable about, please share with us. Whatever you need to know about, just ask. Our members get great satisfaction in helping each other out. No one should suffer needlessly because of simple lack of knowledge about what nature provides.

It feels really good to be here & see so many desiring to break on through to the other side of the pharmaceutical veil of illusion. I'm not saying all pharms. are on the negative side of Nature's balance (yep! pharms. ARE another part of Nature, just as the humans who invented them, advertise them, manufacture them, transport them, etc.). Read about Sandoz's Hydergine® & you'll see what I mean. Some pharms seem quite wonderful for actual emergencies, but to have so many people "addicted" to so many pharms indicates a need for a better way of explaining to as many as possible what health really is (as opposed to what much of Western medicine tends to express & expects many to "blindly" believe).
You are really giving your friends a priceless gift by inviting them to this group. Members here are so thoughtful and caring, doing their best to share knowledge about natural healing alternatives.
I get messages from my own friends list asking me why I havn't invited them to this group because they have heard about it through the Care2 grapevine. I have to explain to them that most times my powers of invite are not working. Care2 hasn't tried to fix that after over a year of imploring to them.
So anyone who joins this group has to find it on their own or be invited by the goods graces of their friends who are already members here.
So many people are suffering and don't realize NATURE PROVIDES, many times the simplest of remedies for them. I hate unnecessary suffering don't you? It's so..so....unnecessary!
Morning guys, I need help. I have gone through the threads and the archives and for some unknown reason I cannot spot the Hep-C thread. Duh! My hubby is going to a specialist who insists he take Interferon, and we are trying to do things naturally. I need some clinical studies to present to the Dr. about Milk Thistle, Buplerum.Etc. Thanks
Happy Hello from Patchouli October 10, 2007 5:58 AM
It's Newbie Patchouli Sky here checking in to meet you all. Many thanks to Neo for inviting me to this group Neo. I look forward to sharing info with you all and learning from you all.
Good Morning everyone and thanks for directing me to the thread about Hep-C I could not find that thread no matter how I tried. Also, is there a thread about building immunity. It is coming into the cold season and I experience something close to terror, I get Pneumonia each winter and or Brohchitis that lasts for weeks. Once again thanks for all the information this is such a great group with knowledgeable people.
Believe me, I sympathize, we all have a difficult time finding certain threads and topics here as there are so many, . Our Hosts have tried in vain to get Care2 to give some more colored pins to groups for various uses and categories but they ignore the need for some reason.
We have taken the request to Care2 Feedback & Suggestions numerous times and get shouted down by people who think pins are not necessary and that even red and blue pins should be taken away! Go figure why some people are threatened by pins!
It sure would make life easier on this group as far as management and use but meanwhile we suffer......
We should have a whole box of multicoloured pins!!! We could have pink for womens issues green for environment purple for important stuff yellow for fun stuff etc etc care2 are soooo stuffy!

I've been into herbs for quite awhile, and have found them to be better than Rx meds in some cases--when you've got as many conditions as I have, you've got to be careful with interactions and side effects!
For instance, I add kombucha to my green tea--it makes the tea taste better, and keeps my energy up. Ask anyone with MS about fatigue!
This looks like a great group! I see a lot of my friends here, and I hope to make new ones!
I am not positive if I ever actually introduced myself here to begin with, and now seems to be a wonderful opportunity to at least say hello...
I am very much enjoying reading past threads, and posts, and I want to thank everyone here for their contributions. I tell everyone I know about the care2connect network, and even those that for one reason or the other don't make it over to join any of the groups, they still get my updates, full of advice and tidbits of information learned through the many groups here.I have been so very blessed through this care2connect experience, and meeting so many of you has enriched my life, and has really done so much to help brighten up otherise tough days...so, thank you so much...by the way, my name is Genna Barrett, I'm from Dover N.H...here with my husband Dana, our three sons Justin almost 15, Joshua just turned 12, and 6 year old Jacob along with our 9 cats, and our fish...that's a bit about me, lol...glad to be here. Peace.
Good Morning wonderful people, I am so excited to let you know that my husbands health is continuing to improve and most of the reason is attributable to this group. Ron has been taking Liv.52, Ultra Thistle, Selenium and Alpha Lipoic Acid among other things and all of his levels have dropped drastically. His tumor marker was 116 and is now around 50 and the Dr. is amazed. His enzymes which were in the millions is now below 200,000 they still insist he take the interferon because they claim this won't work forever, the only thing that will knock the Hep C completely is their poison. Thanks everyone and my husband says a BIG thanks.

Barb pointed this direction and I'm really glad to be here. I have several health issues, but most are under control with medication. I would definitely like to learn of naturopathic remedies vice chemicals.
nO PLANT IN NATURE WORKS BETTER AND HAS AS MANY USES AS THE CANNABIS PLANT. yOU CAN GET FOOD,fuel, CLOTHING,SHELTER,MEDICINE, PAPER,FUN. aLL FROM ONE PLANT. aND IT HAS LESS HARM AND SIDE EFFECTS THAN ASPIRIN. I SWEAR TO GOD!
Just checking in to say "HayRow" to all the good & kind people out there - may you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.!!!!!

joined today...Thanks for the invite...I am a vegetarian, don't eat it if someone else made it or packaged it kinda girl...Believe strongly that the earth provides for all the need just can't keep up with man's greed! Have dabbled in "other" medicine since a teen and have a diploma in nuritional therapy as well as a few other things. Have worked in the Mental health field and would advise anyone having issues to find alternatives to the poisons we are prescribed. (yes they are out there)(read Toxic Psychiatry for a major eye opener) hope to read often here and learn much. Thanks again for the invite.

WELCOME EVERYONE! PLEASE CHECK IN! Part 5 December 21, 2007 10:50 PM
Good day, from the other side of the world, I am from Melbourne Australia. I am into natural food and medication. All my dogs are fed a natural and fresh food. Needless to say that hipdysplaisa and other illnesses stay away! Not to mention their strong immune system! If you like help with a natural dog food, you may call on me, I would be more then happy to teach you how it is done. I have 14 years experience. I will unravel the worst things about commercial dog foods to you, you won't want to feed it to your dog any more, dry or canned or sausage. We are poisoning our dogs with it, as it is at best of "take away food" quality, but nothing to do with fresh and wholesome! No wonder so many dogs die of unnatural causes, cancers, etc
But thanks for inviting me, so glad to be here, as this looks like a very interesting and knowledgeable group.
HELLO EVERYONE JUST CHECKIN IN AND WANT TO WISH EVERYONE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND GOOD HEALTH IN THE NEW YEAR. HELLO ELENA THANKYOU YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE. HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU. JOANI

Miigwetch, for the invite. I do believe strongly in natural medications. If we keep putting drugs into our systems we don't allow our body a chance to build a natural ammunity. I will enjoy checking out and learning new things to help with lives ailments.
I only know of a couple of natural remedies, that have worked for years for me. I am learning new things since I found my Native conection and anything I can pass on I will.
Thank you for inviting me I'm always looking for ways to stay healthy naturally! Sometimes all the information can be overwhelming, but this group looks promising and I'm excited!

Im Caitlin, NM, and am trying to live as naturally as possible, while not completely naturally, like I'ma vegetarian, but don't have access to organic things (stupid desert) and will have vegetarian hot-dogs, but medically I'd prefer natural, hoping to live somewhere I could get natural medical care when I'm older, but for now... Also, the main reason I'd prefer natural is cause the FDA only does what sponsers and consumers would want, not what's true, so who knows whats in advil or benedryl? NOT willing to take that chance thank you very much!

Hi everyone!! Haven't been able to visit for a long while...Probably won't again for while. School has got me so busy!!! I've got an A- avrage; not bad for an old lady, HUH. Won't be able to get my Massage therapist licsence until Dec this year. So HI & I think of you all from time to time.
BTW>>> HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILD! Blessings to all........Pati P.
Just checkin in. I love this group and all the useful, healthy information. We live a healthier life because of information shared in this group. YOU ALL ROCK!
Lena I am so glad you came, I think you are going to totally love all the nice folks here and all of the information! All the sweetest people are right here so all of my friends who have joined will fit right in, You are all such a blessing to me! You are welcome Donna, it was my pleasure to bring them here, you and all of the host make it such a nice place to be. Hi Fil! Hi Elena, nice to see you!
I have some info on organic products, (some of which I use!) that just came into my inbox and I tell you all I am angry about what I am reading. Its so LONG I worry about where to post it, like, should it go into consumer alerts or what?? I worry about how hard the page might be to load for some users, the vaccination page thats SO important (like all of the other pages here) , is becoming a little hard to load even with high speed net!
I will post what I have from my mail, if it hasnt already been posted, if its in the wrong place I apologise in advance to the host! If its wrongly posted please fix it for me, okay?
I truly believe nature heals, however I eat medicine also, there was pretty much no choice after being sick for so long, but in general I like to refer to nature when I need some healing!
Hi everyone, I found this group through another of my friends on Care2 and am looking forward to getting to know you all and learning from your resource pages. I have Fibromyalgia and heart problems (among other health issues!), and use natural herbal products to support the prescribed drugs I am having to accept - without them I'd be back in that darn wheelchair! i live in the UK and although I am a natural healer, I can't seem to make it work on myself LOL
Angel and . As I always hear them say - natural might take a lil' longer to work, but it will. Make yourself at home, check out our threads and links and looking forward to chatting with you here.
With an intense gypsy education. Discriminated by many people. I live in an all weather tent In nature and we from the open source project bring a new ERA to the world population.
Hi to everyone and all the great hosts here at Nature Provides, it has been almost a year since I came to this group because my husband was gravely ill. Because of the advise of this group and particular individuals my husband is once again working and more to the point enjoying life. I am forever grateful. Hugs to all jean
Hello everyone. This looks like a wonderful group to be in, and I am glad that I was sent an invite. Sorry it took me so long to get here, I was having puter problems. Now most of that is settled, I am here.
I can't wait to get in here and see what all is here, and get in on the convos, and maybe even have a few things to say myself. I hope you all are having a most wonderful weekend.
I finally got in to say Hi. Took a little while, but here I am. I look forward to contributiing information. I am a nutritional consultant. Please feel free to peek at my profile and add me as a friend. Ask me questions in a Personal Message and I will answer you.
I don't think I've ever posted before, even though I've been reading this for a while. Thank you for such great information! Karen C.

Hello April 04, 2009 7:59 AM
Hello, I've just joined. I'm sure I'll enjoy reading through all the info when I have an extra day or two ; - ) (I think it's time for a Part 5) Glad to be here, Jane
Hi all, just wanted to drop in and introduce myself. Just joined the group, look forward to reading the differant posts.
Thanks Eric for sending me the invite.
Thank you, Eric, for the invitation. Small story about me: I had a heart attack about a year and a half ago. Had stents put in for the coronary artery that was clogged (one of two) and then put on massive drugs to be taken forever. I have been fighting the drug thing, so was I looking for alternatives. One I "had to take" was a statin combo (to lower cholesterol) from which I suffered endless and severe side effects. On the net I discovered an alternative: red yeast rice. I now take this along with policosinol with great success and no side effects. This does not work for everyone and anyone who tries this should do it with an MD's knowledge and supervision. Also, I have altered my diet to almost no meat (only occ. ground turkey), increased fruit and vegetables and almost zero saturated fat, so, the red yeast rice had diet support.
I am still on some other drugs and will be until I lose about 40 to 50 pounds. But, I am definitely a believer!
My best to all and be "seeing" you.
Hi Eric and friends..I see alot of members I know..Good to be here..Eric thanks for the invite..Gonna have a look around..I have some new goals in life and want to find things to help me keep on the right track..looking forward to this group will post as I can~ JoAnna

K 2 U Nature Freaks - Green is Great - Carbon is Bad April 04, 2009 11:07 PM
Make U R own kelp caps from certified organic kelp for a rare nutrient: iodine. You don't easily get enough.
Stop drinking coffee and start using ginseng extract or caps of ginseng root powder. I drank coffee every morning, got headaches about every 10 days and sleep disturbance occasionally. Once I tried red ginseng powder caps and coffee together and it was like too much! I found I could quit the coffee and headaches, sleep soundly and get that extra zip and go from ginseng.
Hey Eric Thanks for the invitation to this group. As we have seen in the past big brother will always be making a profit on the little people. It would be so great if they would give the naturals a chance to work. But alas it is not about people it is about the almighty dollar. Looking forward to this group.

I am new here and just checking in. Thanks for the invite Eric, I have been a naturalist for awhile now, and hope to learn some new things and post some of the natural remedies I know.
Hi everybody. Checkin in. Still learning how nature provides. Sure would like to learn some flint knapping. More wild herb medicine too. Sure is a lot of members in this group.

Hello eveyone, Eric invited me so I knew it was a cool group. So glad to be included. Norwalk, Ohio lady that homeschools and appreciates all that nature does for us. Untrained herbal lady though I use what I know. Looking forward to getting to know you! Happy spring!
