 The purpose of this group November 07, 2006 7:35 PM

    Is NOT to improve on the care2 system...There are other groups who are addressing that, and have written charters and rules and threads of information.

The purpose of this group is not to be a judge to those who take part in care2,  the hosts or users..or what they may or may not be doing wrong.

Our purpose is simply to address the needs of the  new group hosts, and/or new users. To help them to use their group functions to the betterment of their groups, and to explain how varsious features operate. I hope to write faqs that are a bit more inclusive than those we currently have, and to address additional needs of the users, as well as to answer their questions when we can, or refer them to someone who can answer them when one of us can't.
I hope that in the spirit of being helpful reasonable adults we can address the needs of the myriad new users who are coming on board as hosts, and respond to them reasonably, remembering that it took us a bit of time to learn our way around too.

Care2 needs this group to help fellow members. MySpace needs it even more than Care2 does, I swear! You should start one there too as a sister group, Robbi. I can't figure out how to do anything on my profile or the group I started there. It is totally not user friendly like Care2.  [ send green star]

    we could start one together.. I have learned to use my space, but to be honest I don't care for it.. its so .. impersonal, is the word that springs immediately to mind.. Not that I am dissing it.. for what it is, its wonderful.. but its simply not care2 standards is it..

Thanks Elle for the invite to this group, I really need it! I probably won't even understand the explanations of how to do stuff. I want to put pictures on friends pages and make larger, colorful letters but it all seems so wierdly complex at this point. My computer use is mostly editing video and doing artwork. I love my Mac!
