Welcome New Members,
I've only been here about a month but don't feel like a new member anymore because "I got my feet wet" by participating somewhat.
We've been waiting to hear from the newest members with your introductions since membership was reopened.
However, take your time because there is no pressure. The words flow much easier when you are relaxed and in the right comfort zone to contribute.
What I did was be a spectator for the 1st couple weeks and got a feel for the thought processes of the contributing members and the General ebb and flow of the group before I was comfortable enough to write.
But once I hit that comfort zone and started writing I started to really enjoy myself and the group.
If that is a better way for you as it was for me than watch from afar until you're ready.
But a quick intro won't hurt until you are truly ready to contribute.
Thanks,
John Hesse
Thank you for stepping in there John, couldn't have put it better myself...
In fact, coming from a members who's joined as recently as yourself, it helps put others at ease somewhat... Or at least - I would hope it does...
There's a good gang here who like to share their thoughts and ideas in a friendly, positive and helpful manner... The hosts appreciate everyone's interest and support...
Great work John - and thanks again...

My name is Ana Kristina. I am Brazilian and I live in Rio de Janeiro. Brazil is mostly catholic but the African and the Native Brazilian religious influences are strong and rooted.
Considering this background, Spiritualityto me means basically two things:
- One is the relationship between me and God (or Creator, or Source....). In this case, spirituality would be the opposite to materialism. Here is where I question myself, where I question the universe, the causes and consequences of all things.
-The other thing is the relationship between this world (me, you and everybody) with the spirits themselves. This is something that I can feel and in which I do believe. Here is where I learn.
But I am not a credulous person. I follow a doctrine called Spiritism that has a scientifical approach on both relationships, and explain what we usually name "miracles" as natural phenomena that obey the universal laws.
I joined the group because I like to know different opinions and points of view. The more we share, the more we learn.
Thank you, moderators, for having received me so well.
I would like to welcome news members and encourage them to share or post.

I'd like to join Dar in welcoming all those who have joined the group over the past month or so...
All are welcome (as some have already done) to share a few details about themselves, their thoughts, feelings and interests relating to spiritual understandings, or maybe give others an insight into their interests, hobbies or daily routines...
It all helps to bring people closer together, thus creating a more sound and solid form of companionship...
Looking forward to any input that might be forthcoming...
Robbie....
